Amsterdam, the aftermath!

Well, after 3 nights in Amsterdam. I need some rest, although i have landed in the wrong place to do so… The Generator London, however i’m only here for another night before heading on to Paris.

With my sister, and her friend in Amsterdam, the first night was quite tame, sorta tired from plane ride somehow, it was only 55 mins from London to Amsterdam, but took us about 2 hours to get to the airport from whereever we were staying. However we did meet up with a couple that is travelling on busabout, and we subsequently met up with a group of about 10 busabouters.

So the following day, we hired some bikes and did a bit of touring around town. On our bikes, in seeing Anne Franks Haus(House) which was really fascinating to see, and then rode for a lunch in town, walked through the red light district during the day (seriously not the same effect as night) went to a couple of “Coffee Shops” which i never actually had any coffee, then for some reason most of the day had gone, so happy hour at the hostel bar, before returning to the Redlight District for the evening. Oh the sites that were seen were quite well, Ok here is one rule that you need to know when you go to the red light district, When there is a blue light…. ITS A MAN! you may not believe it… But its true.

So we did eventually see a sex show, and it seemed classy. Well Classier compared to some in Bangkok, well what a night!

The following day was a bit of a crappy day, but not being stopped by the weather, i went off exploring randomly by myself, and walked off the city map about 5 times. And really go to see the full sites of Amsterdam.

I probably wont update this for about 4 days now, as i am going to be in transit (GOD i sound like im cargo or something) However i will report back to you all from Berlin!
