Cskey Krumlov

Sitting in this park by the pond in Cskey Krumlov with absouletly nothing to do, no plans to make for my next city, no sites i must just simply see, and i find myself in a bit of a quandry as i really don’t know what to do with myself, and have forgotten the art of relaxation.

The pond, as is the whole city is just absolutely magnificant. The second biggest castle in the Czek Rebublic after Prauge a couple of days ago, we are greeted by this beautful hostel by a river that most of the rooms are in a tree loft type building. So after check-in i go exploring up to the castle. Where they have these bears that are protecting the castle in the old moat. So upon looking through the beautiful scenery, I approach the Royal Gardens, Ofcourse immaculately groomed.Further up through what seems to be a never ending hegde path, i arrive at what is the best and most beautiful pond i have ever seen.

There is not much to do here, except kick back, relax. So i am going to recap a tiny bit on my travels, and fill you in on things that i haven’t explained yet.

Berlin, when i arrived to one of the best hostels in the world (So Far) and started my walking tour i was told that Berlin is the coolest city in the world. So far that is dead right! The walking tour was fantastic, taking me past so many memorials, book burning square, Check point charlie, and learning all about the cities shady past and what they are doing to better themselves and their city from what they have learnt. My highlight in Berlin was definitely the Riechstraadt which is the German parliment buidling, which had a beautful look out up the top to see the whole of Berlin, however the roof is made of glass and you can see the politicans working. The prefect statement the people always looking at the politicians making sure they are doing the right thing and the poloticians know there place below the people.

Also with Busabout they through i a surprise tour to a POW camp on the way to Prauge, which was a nice bonus. It wasn’t a really bad one as most of the people that died there about 900 from memory were just due to the conditions or over crowding of the cells.

After Terzin, we arrived to Prauge in appauling weather, which really didn’t help my impression of the city, Yes it was cheap and Beautiful, but there are nicer cities around that i like more.

So its off to Vienna and Salzburg i go…Sound of music, Mozart, and wine tasting here i come. Remember if you have any tips or questions press the comment button and you can post your comments and i will reply to them.

Austrian firewater ‘Stroh’ is available in three strengths; 60% (Stroh 60) and 80% (Stroh 80). Apparently, they are too highly inflammable to take on a plane (including in the hold). The thousands of gallons of aviation fuel are not inflammable enough?

Justo, you should go for the ‘wimps’ version Stroh 60!!! IT BURNS IT BURNS!!!!
