Santorini…Absolutely Gorgeous!
What can i say, I arrived 2 days ago and as soon as i landed i had a feeling that this place was special. You know how you get one of those buzzes when you know it is absolutely fantastic. So the First night was spent walking around the city, i guess getting drunk mainly in Kebab shops, which by the way is probably the best idea in the world. Think about it… Cheap Beer, on tap and kebabs able to be ordered without leaving your seat! You don’t have to go anywhere for that dodgy kebab its there already!
Yesterday was a big day, there was a random group of 4 of us… As there always seems to be, and we hired a car and drove around the Island. First we went to the Black Sand Beach, then the Black Pebble beach, the Red Sand Beach seeing all these different beaches was out of this world. I then decided i would go to Oia to see the sunset. However unfortunately i was about 10 mins left, so i didn’t actually get to see it set. Ahh well there is always another day.
I think Tomorrow i will go to the Volcano, bathe in the hotsprings, and have another awsome day, but yesterday was so tiring that i am having a bit more of a relaxed day today. I know its not a very poetic story today, however this place has just a spirit to it, that i fear anything creative i try to do will not cover it.
