Wouldn’t It Be NICE, to say visit St Tropez home of the rich and famous.

Ok with one bad pun, and many more to come its time that i let you know where I am today. It’s NICE, France… for those of you with issues of the French Language, from now on pronounce it as Niece. There will be some help for those of you that need it for the few French places i have been to, i.e. Nice (Niece)

Yesterday, i went to visit with my rich and famous pals in St Tropez (Saint Tropey) on a nice cruise. Firstly, with it starting at 1pm this gave me time to explore that tiny bit more of Nices’ main street that i hadn’t done the previous night. Upon finding a store that sells Memory cards for my camera at 15 Euros for a 512 MB Card ofcourse i had to stock up on a few more. Then the cruise came… Well apart from the 2 hour bus ride to get there that is.

The Cruise covered the bay around St Tropez, spotting Jonny Depps place, Susan Sarandon and other random celebraties places. Oh i guess this is where i should disclose that there was unlimmited drinks on the Cruise there and back…. Nice little advantage to this isn’t there. So fighting back the crowds to the unlimmited drinks, the boat rocking majorly due to a factor 6 wind, smaller then the factor 8 on the ferry to Greece, but i was on a smaller ship! Getting drenched by the waves that were coming over the bow it was a great experience. (some nice photos too).

Then in St Tropez was the best day for car spotting i have had on the trip. 3 Ferraris in Total spotted, 348,360 Modena (Brand New) and a Enzo. 2 F1 Maclarens, 2 Maseratti’s, and more Hum – v’s then you can poke a stick at. We got lost at one point and asked this English couple for directions… Little did i realise until later that one of them presents the news, and one is a reporter for Channel 4 in the UK! Nice little brush with fame.

Tomorrow i’m off to Lauterbrunnan, for a couple of days of relaxing in the Swiss Alpes. Yes i know there is no snow there at the moment which makes the trip even nicer really. Then i come back here in Nice for a couple of days so i can go to Monte Carlo, so i can have my ride in a Ferrari around the Monte Carlo F1 circut, and then go and gamble some money in the world famous Monte Carlo Casino!
