Barcelona…It feels like home!

Hola from Barcelona peoples! I´m in Barcelona Spain at the moment, and shall be travelling around spain until the end of September when i shall be back in London getting back to reality… Ewww what a horrible thought! I´ve also found out that on my return i don´t have a place to crash, so those people in London that i am friends with… Prepare to have a dosser on your couch for a while.

Barcelona is fantastic, there are areas where it feels as though i´m back in Sydney Harbour which is obviously a big plus for the city. The Marina looks like sydney with the Yachts, Shopping centre and Imax cinemas around although not as beautiful its the closest i have come to Sydney in a long time.

Its also one of the only cities in the world where i don´t feel like an alcoholic, here and Madrid, because 9am is NOT too early for a beer or wine or Sangria. So the average people especially on weekdays start by having a wine and a coffee and a pastry for Breakfast. This is an alcoholics paradise, as you have a drink or two during the day like lunch time etc…Feeling too smashed, its ok Siesta time! Then say 5ish, you rock up back to work, work for a couple more hours. Dinner is around 9-10pm, then you go out till about 2am, Sleep and start all again. They say that Barcelona and Madrid have 3 hours less sleep then anywhere in Western Europe. I believe it.

Unfortunately there is no places around to upload Barcelona photos at the moment, however its not one of those cities that you take loads of photos of except for maybe the Gaudi Buildings which are very umm unusual.

So With only a few weeks to go in Europe i´m off to Valencia, Madrid, San Sebastien, Paris, and back to London to work for the glu again, oh how civilised..Terrible!

I´m not sure where my next report will be from either here or Valencia or Madrid, but keep checking back!

I guess as there is not too much time left i can start reflecting on where i have been so below is a map of what i have done, and don´t forget to add on that month in Greece and the Greek Islands. Sorry the link doesn’t work anymore
