Madrid…Beckham, watching Real Madrid
Hey all, just wanted to let you all know that i am in Madrid now finally. I decided to stay those extra two days in Valencia, and it was fantastic, not only because it is a great little city, but the fact that it brought me to Madrid just at the right time. Last Night, on a whim a group of 14 of us from the Hostel went to see the Real Madrid game. Where David Beckham came on as a replacement and scored a goal to end the game 2-0.
So not only was i lucky enough to go and watch the game, and watch David Beckham score a goal, but i also recorded it on my camera! Check out the photos and movies in my Gallery. Pretty Impressed i must say.
So Apart from that Madrid, is all about the shopping and Museums from what i can see, and as i´ve had 3 months of Museums, Arty Farty stuff, and i really can´t afford too much in the shopping sense There is not too much for me to do.
The thing that bugs me about Europe, is if you want to do something. I.e. Banking etc it must be done before a Friday, All Shops and everything is closed on a Sunday, and Museums are closed on Mondays. How do they ever get anything done? How did they even form the shambles that is the European Union, where one of their only successful laws and standards they have passed have been NO SMOKING inside, which to be fair is pretty good, and Official Standard sizes, weights and colours of Bannanas! Yup thats Right Bannanas.
I also tried to get into the Spanish Fashion Fair, reason…Unknown, and i really thought they would have let me in after reading this article but it seems that you also have to be famous, rich, and really really ridiculously good looking. Ahh well, i only have two out of three of those attributes so No entradas persona.
I´ve been thinking of calling this trip Europe Underconstruction, The Fountains of Europe, or my personal Favourite. If That F*$king Toothbrush finds its way to the bottom of my bag once more its going forever.
