Hello All from bright and Sunny New York!

Today was my first day travelling, and my first real day in New York, last night I arrived via JFK to L Hostels New York which is in the middle of Harlem in New York, At first their subway/underground system is quite confusing, and its not until you use the it that you get the hang of it. That and when they say catch a train its further then you think, they are right. I walked 60 odd blocks this morning and I’m beat… From 118th St to 40th avenue i’ve walked it.

The first thing this morning was a lovely stroll through Central Park, which surprisingly is not only large but is absolutely beautiful. So upon walking through the whole of it top to bottom I stumbled into a Star bucks a bit bewildered about the distance I’ve just walked. Little did i know that this particular starbucks is where all the paparazi were hanging out who took shots of Gossip girl that was being filmed next door. Unfortunately i missed that, but some of the photography gear these guys were carrying..

I stumbled on through to Time Square, The rockafella centre, Having seen the empire state building. Lots more to do tonight and tomorrow before i hit conneticutt. Its a short blog post today!
