Vermont, and New Hampshire

Its me again, updating from a hotel in North Conway New Hampshire and what a lovely day it has been. My Aunt has been driving me around Vermont and New Hampshire showing me all around, this morning we headed out of St Johnsbury, Vermont which was cloudy, and foggy. That was the first bit of bad weather i’ve had all trip however by the time we got to Pollys Pancakes in Sugar Hill who by the way have best pancakes I’ve found the fog was all burned up, and the sun was shinning.

From there we went for a little drive to a beautiful place called the basin, it was in a drive, here a few lovely photos from here the basin.

Imagine walking throughout all of this lovely forrest, seeing water so crystal clear that you can see all the rocks throughout the river, if there are trout in there, you can also see it. The Water was the freshest water straight from glaciers and really a wonderful place to walk, but the best was about to come.

From there we made our way to the Flume, in New Hampshire now all this both the basin and the Flume is all on the Kancamagus highway between Vermont and New Hampshire. This highway nestled in between the presidential mountains in New Hampshire. Unfortunately i’m here a week or two too early and the leaves haven’t started exactly changing colours yet, however they are just starting.
