Boston

Hello all, i’m writing to you from a slightly overcast Boston, where I have arrived via megabus that was driven by a lovely old Italian Gentleman who had the bus smelling of Cinnamon, better then BO or something like that but not really what i’m used to. So far i’ve done a fair scout around the town had a New England Clam Chowder for lunch and its been lovely. I have very mixed opinions on this city so far, and it is very cosmopolitan. The hostel is in a very Eclectic area, it seems as though its full of Musicians and students and its literally just down the road from the Christian Science Museum. So you can see the Juxtaposition there, however its not just that. If you walk around with your eyes open unfortunately you see a lot of people hit hard by poverty living on the streets all staying in Boston Common. It really does seem a city that has been hit hard by the recession and i’m happy that i’ve been able to experience something new.

That said there is a bit to explore and do in this town I’ve been told that the science Museum is a must as well as trying to see a baseball game @ Fenway park, so I’m going to try and do that tomorrow night.
