Kennedy Space Center, and Seaworld
Hello its me again, i’ve decided to head back from Miami a day earlier then planned as I wanted to try and squeeze in the Kennedy Space center. Now i’ve always had a passing interest in space, its a large area that is largely unexplored which is right up my alley. So I headed on the 3 and a half hour journey back to Orlando early, and was at the Kennedy space center by 1pm. In hindsight, this is definitely somewhere that you could spend more then 5 hours at. I would allocate a day for it. I chose the Up Close tour, which had some fantastic benefits like being just over a mile away from Shuttle launch site 39A and 39B where basically the most important shuttle launches have taken off from.

Its really one of those places in the world where it makes you stop and think about how bizarre life is. We are on a planet that is tilted 23 degrees, so everyone is on a slant and we are only going around in rotation about 1,000 miles an hour!

Anyways I thoroughly enjoyed my time at NASA’s Kennedy Space center, and has left me with a lot of reading and catching up to do to where the space program is headed. Below are a few of the best pics of the day.

Now today I also went to Seaworld Orlando, which is every bit as good as I expected. Its been somewhat of an easier day for me, not rushing through trying to do a million things and fit them all in at once. I’ve decided that I definitely will come back here one day, both to Universal, Kennedy space center and Seaworld. I might even one day get back down to Miami to see the Miami mountains an entire 13ft above sea level.

Now I do love the Americans and their over the top-ness. The brits whenever you meet them they will always ask you how much did you pay for this and that always trying to get a discount, the Americans just take it as they have the best deal so don’t even ask (which they normally do). Some of the funniest things I’ve seen are the Drive through Banks! Coffee cup holders on Trolleys and Prams! and other assorted goodies that just make you smile.
I would really recommend the Whale and Dolphin show in Seaworld, it is a blast! so many colours, so much happening and its one of those displays where at the end you think wow! Well Done Seaworld.
